M5 Shockproof 451

There is a lot to love about the Shockproof. 

Ergonomically it is perfect if you prefer the 'tucked in' tiller style of riding. With suspension front and rear it is a smooth and controlled when hitting rough pavement or the occasional pot hole. This particular example came to us as a bunch of parts. In the course of the rebuild we acquired a brand new fork, put a new headset on, sourced the best V-brakes we could find and generally brought up to a 'rider's spec'. Which means it is great mechanically..but does have cosmetic issues in terms of paint and finish on the wheels, frame, etc. 

Every mechanical piece/part is sound and usable..shifts and it may be the best example you will find in the States, unless you were to find one that was locked away and never rode. 

Jonathan was able to hit an honest 32mph on a dead flat section of our local trail..so it is fast if it is flat. It is also above average in the comfort department. Components are a mix of Campy (including the wheels!) Shimano Cranks, and Performer riser/stem.
